I believe leadership begins here📍
If you think I approach situations with blame, denial, or justification, understand this first: I walk into every challenge believing there is something either I, or someone else, does not know yet.
That mindset changes everything.
I do not rush to accusation.
I ask questions.
I seek understanding.
I stay open long enough to find the missing piece.
Because I have learned that reacting quickly does not make someone stronger. It usually just makes them emotional, defensive, or afraid of looking wrong.
Managers react to problems.
Leaders investigate them.
A manager asks:
“Who caused this?”
A leader asks:
“Help me understand what I fully do not understand yet.”
That is the difference.
I am not interested in building environments where people are terrified to make mistakes, hide problems, avoid communication, or protect their ego at the expense of growth.
I am interested in building a team
The kind of team that can stay emotionally regulated long enough to gather information before forming conclusions.
The kind of team that understands that confusion is not rebellion.
The kind of people who know that systems break down, communication breaks down, expectations get missed, and humans are still humans.
That does not mean accountability disappears.
It means accountability becomes productive instead of destructive.
There is a massive difference between coaching someone through awareness and attacking someone through assumption.
And if I am honest, our industry needs more leadership and less emotional management.
Too many environments operate through fear, gossip, ego, defensiveness, or control.
Too many talented providers are burning out because they are working inside cultures where they become entitled because they are high earners, and leaders are not leading. I know this because I was one of them until I wasn’t!
I am not intrested in living in that kind of environment.
I choose curiosity over assumptions.
Ownership over ego.
Understanding over blame.
Because leadership is not about proving who is wrong.
It is about uncovering what is true so people, systems, and teams can actually grow.
I believe with all my heart the right people understand the difference.
