Balayage is a color application technique used to strategically create lightness and dimension. Ombré describes a graduated color result, usually transitioning from darker roots to lighter ends. A Hair Artist may use balayage or several different techniques to create an ombré effect.

There is no single schedule that works for everyone. Some guests prefer frequent toning and face-framing brightness, while others choose a more lived-in result and longer intervals between major lightening appointments. Your maintenance plan should be customized to your hair and goals.
It can. The amount and tone of achievable lightness depend on your natural color, previous artificial color, hair condition and desired result. A consultation allows your Hair Artist to determine what can reasonably be achieved while considering the integrity of your hair.
Sometimes, but not always. Previous color, starting level, hair condition and the desired shade of blonde all affect the process. Significant transformations may require multiple appointments. We prefer to create a realistic color plan rather than promise a result before evaluating your hair.
